In 1974 our company’s founder, Sam Karam moved to America from Lebanon in search of a better life and future for his family. Sam began working as a laborer for Rene Charbonneau Home Improvements of New Bedford, MA. Through his on-the-job experience, Sam knew he wanted to run his own construction company. He also knew the only way to create a successful business was to provide quality, honest, and knowledgeable service to customers and to do it right the first time.
Sam started by studying, apprenticing, and obtaining his Construction Supervisor license. He had no problem obtaining work on his own since he was very well-known locally in the industry. As time passed and the business flourished, Sam knew he would not be able to maintain his business alone. Therefore, in 2001 he entrusted his sons with the task of overseeing the day-to-day operations of this now family-owned and operated business. To this very day, we at Sam Karam and Sons continue to use Sam’s philosophy of putting customers first. Along with research, training, and implementation of the latest in energy-efficient building technology.
“Forty-five years after Sam Karam founded our company we remain devoted to providing our customers with the highest quality of service and workmanship. When hiring Sam Karam and Sons, you will see the same hospitality and skills which were instilled into our company from the very beginning.” – Andre Karam
